Y’all, here I am with my family in the middle of nowhere in Joshua Tree, California, and we see something take off. We keep joking that it’s a UFO, 👽 but we realize when a fireball falls to the ground (see the end of the video) that it has to be a rocket.
Sure enough, Space X launched Falcon 9 just now.
So magical! I needed some inspiration to bring you some new, spectacular art projects, and I’m surely getting it. Can’t wait to see y’all soon!

😳SO EXCITED to visit a studio in LA this weekend that inspired me to open Rainbow Factory and continues to inspire me daily.
Until now, I’ve only admired @mericherryla from across the country via Instagram, but we were lucky enough to catch an open studio day, and Sylvia blinged an Easter egg at their cute, cute, cute Tinker Bar.
Meri Cherry greeted us herself and didn’t treat me like a weirdo as I fangirled. Even got a signed copy of her gorgeous book, #playmakecreate!
What a cool experience!! 🎨💜🥰
Sylvia set a leprechaun trap last night and didn’t even tell me! Maybe we’ll catch one today 😉🍀
Oh my gosh; how 🌸CUTE🌸 are these flower vase prints?!? 😍
Students created their own printing plates and used printing ink and brayers to print their flowers and vases.
Then, they practiced floral design and proper gluing techniques as they assembled their collages on their hand-painted backgrounds.
Parents: these are cut down to 8x10 so they’re easily framed! Enjoy!
After-School FUNdamentals of Art students absolutely ROCKED their printmaking project.
